The Hidden Snake

I think Tom knew what everyone was thinking so he gathered some things from the classroom. He was making a trap so he could lure Harry, the snake, into the trap when he had finished making it.
He used his food to get the hidden snake. It came out of the hole and wriggled its body into the trap. Tom slowly picked it up.
Miss Anderson said, "Keep your pet at home.''

CATHOLIC SCHOOLS DAY

Yesterday,  the whole  school  had two Magic Shows. We had one with Jonathon. He was my favourite  magician. His jokes were fantastic.
My favourite  part was when he swallowed the balloon down his throat.
After that, he  said, "In two days, it will come out like a poodle."
After a few seconds, I understood what he meant and we all laughed because he was so funny with his jokes.

When I heard there was another show, I thought, "Wow! Two shows in one day. That is pretty cool!"
El Gregoe was amazing because he teaches  our school about anti-bullying so if someone is bullied, he will know how to handle it.

The Birthday of the Church

The Church is people spreading the Good News about Jesus.
The followers of Jesus had locked  themselves in a room so they wouldn't  get arrested by the soldiers.
pentecost.jpgAt Pentecost, Jesus’ followers came out of the room they were hiding in, to spread the Good News. The Holy spirit had come to them in the form of fire and wind.

This day is called Pentecost. It was the beginning of the Church.

NATIVE BIRD FEEDING

As our class ran through the door, we saw the peacock. It was so beautiful  that I tried to touch it, but we were not allowed to.

We were there because we had filled up the marble jar in our classroom. I was there with my group and Natesha's mum.

Quietly, but quickly I rushed to the native bird enclosure. I tried really, really hard to stay still so a bird could land on me. Ella was doing it too. One almost landed on me.
Jo said, "Put your food away, because some birds were on a special diet." There was one that was green. I got  a fright because I could hear it but I couldn't see it. It was freaky.

The tui is my favourite bird.
